Emotional Wellness refers to one’s ability to be able to understand oneself & cope with the challenges in life that one may face.
We will encourage residents to take part in offered courses/counseling in acquiring the ability to share/cope with their feelings (love, joy, anger, sadness, stress, fear and happiness) in a healthy manner.
Once an individual joins our program as resident, he/she will :
- Take part in group therapy
- Receive counseling & classes about substance abuse, domestic violence & anger management, as needed
- Receive access to mental health services
- Provide peer support or service hours
- Attain permanent housing solutions
- Receive help locating & receiving social services
